Travel: Pre-loved Books @ Atlantis Books, Santorini

September 3, 2014

This Week 18’s prompt for the 52 Photos Project was ‘The Sign Says‘… fairly cryptic.

So I chose this one.

Pre-loved books!

Whenever I see a sign about books, especially pre-loved books, it just shouts at me to stop and have a look (ooh! I spy a Cormac McCarthy) and usually I end up buying one (or two).

I passed this when I was walking the streets of Oia – just sort of stumbled across Atlantis Books which is a small independent bookshop. Ventured in, loved its kookiness and then proceeded to empty my wallet accordingly.

If you ever stop by Santorini you should go. It is a fairly eclectic one. 🙂
